Governors

The governors are a group of committed individuals who work in partnership with the Headteacher, Mr Walsh, to ensure that the school runs smoothly and effectively and is constantly striving to improve the quality of service it provides. Our Chair of Governors is Barrie Cooke MBE and our Vice-Chair is Philip Oke.

Thirteen people make up the governing body, representing different parts of the community. There are:

  • Three Local Authority representatives (David Hughes, Jean Worth and vacancy)
  • Three community representatives (Barrie Cooke, Karen Russell and Sue Speak)
  • Two staff representatives (Chris Pasmore and Yvette Yabsley)
  • Five parent representatives (Wayne Gould, Philip Oke, Debbie Pritchard, Tim Randell and Sarah Rochester)

The Full Governing Body meets three times per year, as do the four governors’ committees, the membership of which are as follows:
