Pomphlett Primary School

Believe - achieve - succeed

22nd - 26th June

Dear Parents,

Welcome to this week's learning. This is the final week that we will be using the usual home learning grid. As mentioned in our most recent home learning update, we are well aware that the children get tired at this time of the year and that they would normally be looking forward to school days where there would be different events happening and activities linked to theme days or weeks. As a result, we are going to extend the whole school focus so that children of different ages, across families, can work together on similar activities. There will be a different theme each week and all the World Studies activities will link to this.

For the next two weeks, we will signpost you to the usual routine English and maths learning such as phonics and Beat That challenges, but there will be no extended learning in these subject areas. If you would like to provide your child with additional maths and English then we recommend the daily lessons on the Bitesize website:

During the final week of term, there will be no maths and English, simply the whole school focus which will be linked to preparing the children for the next school year and allow them to look forward to the summer.

As ever, thank you for your continued support and please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or if we can help in any way.

Best wishes,

The Pomphlett Team
