Beaker Bronze Age pottery

The Bell-Beaker culture (or Beaker culture, Beaker people or Beaker folk) is the name given to a group of early humans who lived roughly between 2800 BC and 2200 BC and amongst other interesting facts, they made small pots out of clay to store foodstuffs, liquids and other precious items. The pupils of Year Three used their knowledge gained from investigations to design, make and decorate their own pot in the beaker style. Once they had dried, the children evaluated their design and thought of ways to improve their pot. Here are the results.
