World Book Day Thursday 4th March
At Pomphlett we want to continue to develop children’s love of reading and recognise the importance in reading for pleasure to extend their learning.
We will be celebrating World Book Day this Thursday and encourage you to share your favourite book with us. If you wish to dress up as your favourite book character don't forget to share photos on Seesaw!

We are thrilled to share with you all the exciting new developments for this year’s World Book Day. Using the above link you are able to access the new World Book Day Book Club and Share a Story corner, as well as the exciting new line-up for 2021’s £1 books.
Author & Illustrator Academy videos are now live and include all of the brilliant £1 book authors and illustrators, with lots of exciting challenges and activities to make reading even more fun and interactive.
The Share a Story Live Events will also encourage more children to get involved in reading for pleasure, so be sure to save the date and tune in!
Reading books - continue to read regularly at home using the link to our reading books.
Phonics - This will continue to be timetabled for Tuesday and Wednesday using our learning PowerPoints.
