Learning to read and write with Phonics at home

 

To support your child in becoming an effective and confident reader we hope to work with you to develop their knowledge of phonics (letter sounds) to enable them to read and write different words they may come across.

 

We hope the learning PowerPoints give you an overview of phonics teaching with your child, and some ideas for how you can support your child at home. The PowerPoint is set out so the children can access this independently using the teacher's voices to give clear instructions for them to follow.
