Remote Learning 2022
Welcome to Year 6's remote learning for 2022
If your child has to self-isolate for any period of time and feels well enough to complete some work, they should use the following resources that we have put together.
We suggest having a go at one English and one maths task a day, as well as reading and times tables practice. In addition to this, you may like to spend time researching and completing tasks linked to our current knowledge organiser which can be found further down this Year 6 class page.
We would love to see what your child has completed during their isolation and celebrate their achievements with them on their return to school.
Should you require any further support, guidance or physical equipment in order for your child to complete these tasks, please do not hesitate to get in contact via Seesaw or the school office and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
English
We would like you to work through this exciting unit of work which takes inspiration from important scientists. Try to complete one lesson a day, starting from lesson one. There is no need for a login to this website and the unit of work can be found below.
Maths
We would like you to have a go at the unit: Integers and Decimals. Please try one lesson a day, starting from lesson one. There is no need to login to this website, click on the link.
Should you want an additional challenge then have a look at the unit: Reasoning with patterns and sequences.
PSHCE
We realise that isolating can be a tricky time for children. We suggest looking through this lesson which is part of our Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education programme. This unit of work called ‘Eat Well, Live Well’ which centres around having a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Again, there is no need to login to this unit of work and it can be accessed below:
