Believe - achieve - succeed

Week 4 13/4/20

Tuesday 14th April 2020

Good afternoon Year 6,

I have added a challenge on the 'Additional Maths Resources' section for this week. There is a BIDMAS activity which should be revision for you. Feel free to watch

which will remind you what to do. I have put the answers on the icon below for you to be able to mark your work.

Have a happy Tuesday!

Welcome Back

Welcome back after the Easter Break. We hope that you and your families have been able to enjoy some Easter fun despite the lock down and the difficulties that this brings to all of us. We hope you know that we are thinking of you and wishing you all the very best.

Well done if you have managed to try some of the learning activities that we have provided. If you haven't managed to log in to any of the websites that we have recommended, please do contact us and we will do our very best to help.

The grid for this week has a bit more detail on it, but please do not be daunted by this. A key point to remember is that if children are mentally engaged in a variety of tasks, keeping themselves active in some way and happy, then this in itself is a major achievement given the current circumstances.

Please choose activities according to what you can reasonably accommodate according to your family circumstances, resources available (IT and practical), work commitments, and children's interest etc. We do understand that this may vary considerably from family to family and we are trying to carefully judge which learning activities to suggest. As we are trying to cater to a broad range of needs and circumstances, we have also provided some additional resources in case these are of use to you, but there is absolutely no expectation that these should be completed; they are there to add variety to our overall offer.

Please do get in touch if you have any questions or would like further guidance - we are here to help in any way that we can.

With very best wishes,

Mrs Skuse and Mrs Jones
