School Census - Let's Count!

Pomphlett provided the opportunity for children to make decisions on planning and funding community services and how we could make positive changes to both the school and local community.

Children in Need

BBC Children in Need exists to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. The vision is that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential.

Pomphlett pupils support this event.

Parliament Day

Tomas Williams from the Parliamentary Outreach visited and delivered an introduction to Parliament assembly to all pupils in Key Stage 2. Following the assembly he held a debating workshop with Year 6 pupils and a manifesto writing workshop in Year 5.

Key Stage 1 pupil focused on Nancy Astor, the first woman to take her seat in the House of Commons by celebrating the unveiling of her statue on Plymouth Hoe.
