PUPIL PREMIUM OUTCOMES

The pupil premium grant exists to narrow the gaps in achievement that may exist due to the barriers to learning caused by financial disadvantage and armed service family life. This page shows the performance of pupils identified by the Department of Education as being eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant, for disadvantaged or armed service family pupils. It can be used to evaluate the grant's impact by comparing the school's figures and national figures for all pupils.

The figures below show the performance of pupil premium childrenin the 2019 National curriculum assessments and include:

  • National and school averages for pupil progress in reading, writing and maths
  • National and school averages for the proportion of pupils achieving:
    • expected and higher attainment in all subjects
    • expected or higher attainment in reading, writing and maths combined
  • National average scaled scores for reading, Grammar Punctuation and Spelling (GPS) and maths
  • School averages for the proportion of pupils achieving:
    • expected and higher attainment in all subjects (all pupils)
    • expected and higher attainment in all subjects combined (disadvantaged and service premium children)
  • School average scaled scores for reading, Grammar Punctuation and Spelling (GPS) and maths (disadvantaged and service premium children)
