Essential highway maintenance on Pomphlett Road- Monday 26th October to 30th October 2026
Message from Plymouth City Council:
Dear parents/ carers
Please be advised that, circumstances and weather permitting, SWH will be undertaking essential highway maintenance on Pomphlett Road, on behalf of Plymouth City Council. The works will be undertaken on Monday 26th October, with a provisional completion date of
Friday 30th October 2026, between the hours of 09.30 to 15:30. Please be advised that these dates and times may need to change with little or no notice.
In order to carry out these patching works, we will be implementing the following restrictions, please see details below
- Road Closure - Pomphlett Road from junction with Home Farm Road to junction with Pomphlett Gardens
- Directional road closure - Pomphlett Road roundabout Eastbound directional road closure to junction with Pomphlett Gardens
Please note, lane closures will also be in place to support the above road closure. Bus stops within these closure points will be suspended for the duration of these works
Diversion routes are as follows:
- Pomphlett Road – Church Road – Stentaway Road – Billacombe Road Westbound – Billacombe Road roundabout – Pomphlett Road
- Pomphlett Road roundabout- Pomphlett Road – Billacombe Road roundabout – Billacombe Road Eastbound – Stentaway Road – Church Road Pomphlett Road
- Pomphlett Road roundabout- Pomphlett Road – Billacombe Road roundabout – Billacombe Road Eastbound – Stentaway Road – Church Road – Deam Cross Road – Plymstock Road – Randwick Park Road – Forester Road – Pomphlett Close – Pomphlett Road
