Term Dates
The academic year begins at the start of September each year and continues to the end of the August of the following year. School term and holiday dates are set by the school, with five additional days at the discretion of our Local Governing Body along with five days set aside for staff training, the dates of which are also at the discretion of the governors. Governors usually make final decisions for term dates in the autumn term of the previous academic year.
We also strive to align our term dates with the Horizon Multi-Academy Trust, so the school can take advantage of joint staff training with our sister schools.
