Welcome to Pomphlett Primary School.
Welcome to Pomphlett Primary School and our website. We are a school that is a member of the Learning Academies Trust. Over the past few years there have been a lot of developments, including moving into a brand new KS2 building and an extensive curriculum redesign.
We most certainly hope that our website gives you a small taste of what you would experience if you were to visit us. We are a very happy school with a warm and friendly family atmosphere, where dedicated staff, governors and parents provide a stimulating and challenging learning environment which helps our children to thrive. On this site you will find information for everyone: children, parents and carers, staff, governors, and, in fact, anyone who is interested in what we do.
We very much believe in the uniqueness of each individual, be they a child or an adult, and strive to create a learning community where everyone is respected and works in partnership with each other. Our aim is to provide an experience of school which is full of enjoyable and valuable memories that last a lifetime, whilst, at the same time, enabling each child to reach their full potential in their learning, basic skills and all-round development. The statement on the Vision and Values page explains our school aims in more detail and the comments made by our parents (see below) tells you about how successful they feel we are in achieving these.
