Believe - achieve - succeed

Science week 2025

Investigation:

Do the different types of bird beak change what they can eat?

Pattern spotting skills.

We had different objects to use as different 'beaks' (chopsticks, a pipette, tweezers, tongs and pegs) and different food such as worms (sweets), hard fruit (pasta and marbles), insects (elastic bands and marshmallows) and soft fruits (marshmallows).

We saw a pattern in the type of 'beak' that could eat and attain certain food and had great fun investigating.
