  • PTA CHRISTMAS FAIR

    SATURDAY 29th November 2014
    The Christmas Fair will take place between 12 and 2pm on Saturday 29th November 2014 - LESS THAN 3 WEEKS!!!  All offers of help would be gratefully received.  If you can help either in getting organised beforehand or in running stalls on the day, please contact Jane Cooper or leave your name with Mrs Tothill or Mrs Webber in reception.
  • Paralympian David Hill came to Pomphlett!

    Paralympian David Hill came to Pomphlett on Friday 21st November, to help the children with their sponsored sports circuit! The children got to meet David, ask him questions about his events, and had the opportunity to earn specially signed prizes depending on the amount of sponsorship that they raise.

    Remember sponsorship money needs to be in by this Friday 28th November!

  • Year 3/4 Indoor Athletics

    Today our Year 3 and 4 team visited Coombe Dean School to take part in the PAAC Indoor athletics festival. They took part in a mixture of track and field events and put in an enormous effort to come in a very close second place! We were very grateful for some support from Pomphlett past pupils, Sam and Harry, who are now Coombe Dean Sports leaders and Silver Ambassadors. Well done team!
  • Y5/6 Indoor Athletics

    On Tuesday evening our team of 12, Year 5 and 6 pupils, visited Plymstock School for one of the Plymouth Schools Indoor Athletics heats. They took part in several track and field events and worked superbly as a team, earning fantastic Bronze medals! Well done to all involved! An achievement to be proud of!
  • CHILDREN IN NEED

    The School Council have decided that the dressing up theme for the day will be 'Heroes and Villains'.  Fancy dress will obviously not be compulsory but those children who do come to school dressed up should bring with them a £1 cash donation for Children in Need.  It should be a fun day for all!
  • Girls Football

    A mixed team of Year 4, 5 and 6 girls visited Plymstock School last week for a fun football festival. They met children from other schools in Plymstock and represented us incredibly well! Well done Girls!
  • Year 5/6 Friendly Football Festival

    A great team of Year 5/6 Boys visited Plymstock School to spend the afternoon meeting children from other schools, whilst playing some friendly football games. They had a great time, even in the rain!

  • Change 4 Life Festival

    A selection of our KS2 children visited Plymstock School for a fabulous Change 4 Life Multi Skills Festival. They took part in a range of different activities aimed at engaging children in new and unusual sports. They had a brilliant time and loved being taught by some of the secondary school leaders.
  • Rocket Man!

    Over the next two days the 'Rocket Man' is visiting Pomphlett to help with our scientific knowledge of how air helps objects to move. Every class is taking part in both a show and workshop. It's brilliant!
