We had lots of new runners, taking on the challenge for the first time, and seasoned runners who had improved on their places from previous years. Well done to all, but special mention to Charlie who came 3rd in the Y5 boys category. The next race will be in two weeks time at Dunstone.

  • Bettinson Cup

    Wed 15 Jan 2020

On Wednesday 15th January 2020, the school football team travelled to Manadon Sports Hub to take part in the Bettinson Trophy. There were two groups with five teams in each group and whoever came first in the group went through to the final. in our group we had Bickleigh Down, Hooe, Lipson Vale and Woodford. Our first game was against Lipson Vale and we won 5-0. We felt excited to carry on. All of our next 3 games ended in losses but we only lost by one goal. The most important thing was that we all enjoyed it.

  • Year 5 PSSP Netball Festival

    Tue 14 Jan 2020
Today, Mrs Marinou took a team of enthusiastic Year 5 pupils to Marjons in order to take part in the PSSP Netball Festival. Year 5 had been having coaching with Mr Cota through the PSSP during the Autumn, so this was a perfect way to test their skills in real life games. The children were great ambassadors for the school and showed great teamwork and determination throughout.
