• Marvellous Multi Skills

  12 Children from Years 1 and 2 ventured across to Coombe Dean School on Wednesday 5th March to take part in an afternoon of fantastic fun and games. They were helped by sports leaders to complete a series of different activities and earn points for their team. The children had a great time and really enjoyed representing their school. Well done everyone!

  

• CHANGE TO MENU ON TUESDAY 4TH MARCH 2014

  There is a slight change to Tuesday's lunch menu instead of the advertised Fruit Crumble and Custard we will be celebrating Pancake Day and offering fantastic PANCAKES for pudding.

• t. Lukes Coffee Morning

  Just a reminder that we will be holding a coffee morning in aid of St. Lukes Hospice on Friday 14th February 9-10 am in the Hall.  We are selling tickets for either a sausage or bacon roll and a hot drink for £3.00 leading up to the day.  This will help us to know how much food to buy in and get cooked ready for you.  If you just want to pop in on the morning for a Hot Drink we will be selling these for 50p.

  All served with Vegetable Spring Rolls and Prawn Crackers
  
  Dessert:           Banana or Pineapple with Ice Cream and Syrup, or Fruit or Yogurt

• Fantastic Six-a-side Football

  Our fantastic Year 5/6 football team ventured to Goals Football this week to take part in the Plymouth City Competition. We breezed through the group stages by winning all of our games. This led us to the finals on Wednesday where the boys won 2 and lost 2, leaving us third in the group, narrowly missing out on the semi-finals. The team were outstanding and a real credit to the school. Many thanks go to Steve Knight, our brilliant football coach, and Nigel Tooze for providing much needed flapjack and doughnuts! Well done team!

• Whole School Christmas Party

  Dear Parent/Carer
  
  This year your child's Christmas Party is on Friday 20th December.  We are asking for a contribution of 50p per child to cover the cost of prizes/party food.
  
  Your child can come to school in party mufti for the whole day on Friday 20th December, and can bring in or make a Christmas Party Hat if they wish to add to the Christmas Spirit!
